I heard on the View, TV show, asking an oncoming young rap artist, was he going to be a proper role model for others to follow, without the "cuss" or "curse" words? And he admiringly said yes, perhaps so?!

Albeit, he is lying or telling himself and others untruths. For one can not change the nature of the beast. It is what it is! And I noted that he do have recognizable performance skills, as such. Although, I also noted that his rhythmic beats and cadences are the very same old ones that the rest of the Hip Hop rappers use in their recordings. Nothing is changed in this sense. There is nothing original and unique and creative here. Be though that it may, be a good thing to give him TV or media coverage, but, his competition is extremely great, which after a few high sales, usually just start to decrease. Especially after the media publicity-prop-promotions subsides out of the public's VIEW.

Moreover, far too many of these young artists are simply thinking from within the box. Following faithfully their peer group in crowds. Repeating basically what thousands of other youngsters are doing. They just about all sound alike. Even when the lyrical rap words are rearranged. They all fundamentally like to sing or rap about some pretty street going girl they think that they are in love with. Or habitually talk about the player's game, being hip and fly, gangster, thugs, hoodlums, "bitches and hoes"; and the stereotypical likes of them. Wear baggy pants and shirts, let ya jeans hang down low, etc. And there's no cleaning this art form up, detoxifying, decontamination process! IT'S A CUSTOM & CULTURE!

We don't necessarily need to be openly seen, out front in public display, before there's some sufficient degree of development success. Saying no to excessive attention, flattery or adulation. Yes, positive comments, support and encouragement is welcomed, BUT, lets not spoil rotten our impressionable kids by telling them that they are (already) excellent when they are obviously not. Nor must we get all carried away and frantic about our child showing promise of being a prodigy, a very gifted person at an early stage. Seeing how that genius, like love may take the whole course of a life's time to truly blossom maturely and bear the wholesome ripe fruit of the Spirit thereof.

INNOVATION TURNING ADVERSITY AROUND: Moreover, the rational idea here is to instill a keen sense of striving for excellence, and one of these good-O' days, prospectively, will improve to the point of being real great. Not to be down graded for any reason are the so called slow learners, who are in most cases only sure methodical learners. They have that natural attitude of being creative and original right from the start, and hesitate when called upon to copy-cat the greatness of others whosoever they might be? Self inclined are the long winded, precautious type personalities taking their own precious time. Refusing to be pushed! Resisting the testing procedures which really test for how well a student has learned how to follow ; at the cost of learning how to lead. Tests are defeating! A true leader accepts his or her mistakes as a learning process, as prerequisite stepping stones to greatness and high achievement success!! I'm talking about taking one's musical and artistic calling soundly serious, however, with having lots of pleasure in the solemn midst of some pain and long-suffering or discomfort; which equal patients. Yes, "let patients have her perfect work." This is not some silly little child's play! Neither a happy go lucky frame of reference. Not only fun and games but requires concentrated effort with a firm grip on the instruments of life, while having a calm-relaxed state of mind! And this technique is being taught by those, knowledgeable, instructors who have discovered the positive benefits of this valuable lesson.

This practice as I see and hear is clearly wrong! It may satisfy the egos of our overseers and guardians, nevertheless, we must avoid being placed in the ruts and overused compositions of the conventions of tradition.

9. YES: the application of good intentions are lacking when they are not thought out in fine details. They can be self-condemning in the sense that they just might not be working properly as thought of to be doing by some supportive people. In fact we sometimes inflame a situation while thinking that we are helping to solve a problem. Prescribing the wrong remedies as if they were a type of healing cure; but, nevertheless, is of toxic drug overdose; a mental superficial anti-depressant fix so to speak. Causing more harm than good!

10. Surely an addiction in the unwanted way, comes at the expense of wholesome habit forming self-motivation and inspiration. A narural chemical response produced from within the organic human body organism, and leaving out the artificial stimulants, in the form of too much flattery and the inflating of the ego of the child or performer. Which can and will and shall and has led to children ending up disliking practice sessions, study periods, and even the dreaded word hate syndromes may ensue as a direct and proximate result. This is exactly why I proscribe or would support the restriction of the stated wrong approach. And do indeed prescribe the first principle of paramount importance, being ToLoveThySelf.

13. Those musical and artistic decisions must be held dearly under the full controls of the performing individual student and players of the instrutments. Or applied artist. A natural free flowing self-discovery is possible only when one is at liberty to breathe in new world life and true love into whatsoever they are doing. Then better things-instruments, keyboards, band equipment, digital recording systems, syntheses of sounds or synthesizers will eventually come along. 2. HUMBLE SEED-ROOTS BEGINNINGS: Of course, playing and performing in our New World CyberSpaceAge digital medium of travel, is very advanced in mental networking or operations communications. Because, of the lightness, elimination of dead beat weight, mega-bites of excess energy, reduced fluid build-up, doing away with analog heavy band equipment to transport here and there, etc. A trimmed down stream-line approaach to The Love of Life itself. Making it happen! Causing things to work, mind over matter! Only to make money, get rich quick sensational schemes as [negatively neutron charged], hype promotions causing the public to wrongly think or falsely believe, that certain rock stars are bestowed with the Divine Promise.

4. NEEDING PUBLIC SUPPORT After Self-discovery: To successfully restore and to revitalize our system, as problem solving solutions, blessed with activated spiritual powers. Yet focussing our monetary funds, positive energies toward those quality valves that are normally covered up by the silent soil of our living souls. Assuming personal responsibility and self-accountability to succeed. Instead of the media contriving to create prodigies-stars via mass mind controls; let us all relearn how to permit greatness to generate itself by its own accord. Adding the truest honest wealth and health to human life; no longer systematically robbing it of goodness and kindness; gentleness, quietness and peacefulness....on and on and on.

6. Some prescibed schedule to perform, regimen, restricts flexibility of the grassroots trying to tap into our innate genius. Reaching out to vital nutrients under hard circumstances or clay clogged elements. Hardening of the arteries! A closed mindset! Typical of built up plaque on teeth or internal organs blocking the free flowing passage of circulating blood vessels, moving water-nutrients. Consequently could be slowing the speed of progress down to a pace unacceptible. With an economic system running a ground, hitting the hard rocks in "dire" straights. Collapsing under its own excessive dead weight and lack of real artistic productivity and creativity. And it is apparently imploding back down to ground level zero!

7. YES: We are living in the now today and not back in the past. However, history teaches us about our worth, particularly when we trace it farther back to ancient times. Selecting the good, the positive, the fredom, the liberty that we enjoyed. Through the mind's travel, re-experiencing the true honest wealth and divine health. 8. Which positive recorded history, tells us how valuable we are, and that we can recreate that historical greatness in every conceivable aspect. Adjulation and flattery and exaggeration is out, a true-up realistic assessment is out. Babying and panpering our impressionable tender children is not necessarily the right thing to do. And I know this to be absolutely true due; in part, to too many parents and teachers building their children up to something that they are not, and perhaps, not meant at all to be?!. Instead of showing them what past and present greatnes really is, through their parental leadership of success. By showing them their glorious history of inventions, scientific discoveries, creative art fomrs of a multitude of sorts and so forth. Reminding them that SUCCESS & TALENTS, are not based on the pushed commercial promotions of selected individuals by so called talent scouts, and talent shows, etc.

9. A BETTER INVESTMENT: Is to never waste valuable resource energies, on excessive spending capital money green on those kids with contrary aptitudes or contrary natural callings. While more talented and gifted kids and adults, are being ignored, looked over and even discouraged!!! Laziness is out and industrousness is in: This means a cultivated condition, living environment that is pleasant is what we are striving for, not only to survive, but to prolifically thrive abundantly, in all wholesome things. As well as plants, humans must; after being properly nourished or fertilized, be allowed to grow at their own [innately programmed] rate, speed and pace!!

11. WHAT SO EVER THE CASE MIGHT BE WHEN PERFORMING: Not to impress mother or father, relatives and family members; but to enjoy the freedom of artistic expression according to the free will. And prominent clarinet parts, are featured in my musical compositions; along with live bass guitar performances; combined with synthesized instrumental solos. Live harmonica for accents are some times added. And interestingly enough, our receptive minded kids are apt to traing their ears to hear and distinguish, the various instruments on one quality MIDI-keyboard. And add their favorite or main lively played instruments along with the synths. Be not afraid, be not bias or prejudice against digital technologies. Yes, be of good courage!
